The number of countries eligible for unilateral visa-free entry has increased to 47, while the list of nations qualifying for 240-hour transit visa exemption has expanded to 55. As China continues to broaden its visa-free access policy, an increasing number of foreigners are choosing to visit the country, making inbound tourism a key growth driver in the cultural and tourism market.
Leveraging this visa-free policy, Shandong Province is diversifying its inbound tourism offerings. Local governments across the region are rolling out concentrated initiatives to attract visitors, transforming the land of Qilu into a destination of poetry and distant horizons for international travelers.
