Sichuan is a province rich in tourism resources. Since the beginning of this year, Sichuan has implemented multiple measures to accelerate the transformation of its resource advantages into industrial strengths, actively building itself into a major global tourism destination while continuously promoting the deep integration of cultural and tourism industries.

Centered on the goal of “accelerating the development of Sichuan into a major global tourism destination,” the province has launched the Action Plan for Further Promoting Inbound Tourism this year. This plan outlines 20 specific measures across eight key areas, including enhancing the efficiency of inbound customs clearance, facilitating easier access for tourists to Sichuan, and optimizing the tourism service environment.
