Since last year, China's inbound tourism market has rebounded rapidly as the benefits of facilitation policies—including visa, payment, and transportation measures—continue to unfold. Beijing has consistently ranked among China's most popular inbound travel destinations.

Entering 2025, Beijing's inbound tourism has accelerated its growth momentum. According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, from January to April this year, the city welcomed 1.46 million inbound tourists, a 57.1% year-on-year increase, with tourism spending reaching $1.9 billion, up 55.0%. This marks a dual growth in both tourist volume and consumption levels. Leveraging a comprehensive strategy of policy innovation, product supply, service optimization, and consumption promotion, Beijing is committed to establishing itself as a premier global tourism destination and China's top choice for inbound travel.
