From November 8, 2024, when China implemented a visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from South Korea, to June 9, 2025, over 37,000 South Korean travelers passed through Kunming Changshui International Airport, marking a 210% year-on-year increase.

Amid the ongoing benefits of the visa-free policy, Kunming Changshui International Airport has recently welcomed a surge of South Korean travelers. Ms. Park, a South Korean visitor conducting her first business inspection of Yunnan's flower market, remarked, “The efficient entry procedures at Kunming Airport set a positive tone for my business itinerary.” She expressed that the convenience brought by the visa-free policy has bolstered her confidence to explore the Chinese market more deeply.
