Preliminary estimates indicate that during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2025 (May 31 to June 2), Guangdong Province welcomed a cumulative total of 23.21 million tourists, representing a year-on-year increase of 20.6%. Tourism revenue reached 11.44 billion yuan, marking a 25.6% rise compared to the previous year. The average per capita spending of tourists across the province reached 493 yuan, up 4.2% year-on-year. Among these, day-trip visitors spent an average of 329 yuan per person, while overnight visitors spent 1,028 yuan per person, accounting for 23.5% of the total. During the holiday period, the province's cultural and tourism market remained safe, orderly, and vibrant, demonstrating a trend of high-quality development.
