Seventeen-year-old Russian girl Yulia returned to her home in China—Eerguna City, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region—after a year's absence. This time, her Chinese friend Cui Yukun took her deep into the Greater Khingan Range to admire the Xing'an azaleas.
Located in northeastern Inner Mongolia, Hulunbuir borders both Russia and Mongolia. It is China's only city where the borders of China, Russia, and Mongolia converge, boasting a border length of 1,733.32 kilometers and eight national-level ports including Manzhouli and Heishantou.
Recently, nearly 90 members of a Russian study tour group arrived in Hulunbuir to embark on a cross-border educational journey. This marks the sixth group of Russian youth visiting Inner Mongolia this year.
