During this year's May Day holiday, cultural and museum venues saw soaring visitor numbers. Data released by China's National Cultural Heritage Administration on May 6 revealed that museums nationwide welcomed over 60.4919 million visitors during the holiday period, marking a 17% year-on-year increase and setting a new record high. The public immersed themselves in cultural experiences at museums and historic sites. Statistics show that museums in provinces including Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Guangdong, and Sichuan each welcomed over 3 million visitors.
