Marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russia unveiled the “Heroic Paths” series featuring 20 curated tourist routes. The itineraries were designed collaboratively by the Center for Strategic Research (CSR), the Ministry of Economic Development, and regional authorities. They traverse cities including Volgograd, Pskov, Smolensk, Leningrad, Tver, Bryansk, Rostov, Murmansk, and Voronezh. Each route can be completed independently or with a tour group within two to three days, with opportunities to incorporate other short excursions along the way.
