On April 11, entering the ancient street of Longmen in Luoyang, Henan, a signboard reading “Luoyang City Advance Compensation Pilot Unit” stood out prominently at the entrance. It displayed details such as the advance compensation plan and the advance compensation commitment letter.
To further safeguard and uphold consumer rights, Luoyang launched its “Pre-Compensation for Consumer Complaints” pilot program in April this year, initially targeting Longmen Ancient Street, Luoyang Ancient City, Tianxin Industrial Park, and Xigong Small Street. Management pledges to respond to complaints within 15 minutes and process online complaints within 2 hours. Consumers can complete complaint registration and evidence submission without leaving the premises, truly achieving “minor issues resolved on-site, major issues resolved on-site, and disputes resolved overnight.”
