Following the cooling of travel to Japan, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched its “Safe Travel Thailand” initiative targeting Chinese tourists. On November 19, the TAT Beijing Office issued a statement affirming Thailand's commitment to welcoming visitors from around the world—especially Chinese friends—as “dear friends.” The TAT explicitly expressed its warm welcome for Chinese tourists to return to Thailand.

Simultaneously, to ensure Chinese tourists enjoy safer, more secure, and convenient journeys in Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched the “Trusted Thailand” initiative. All businesses bearing this certification have undergone rigorous screening and meet comprehensive safety and service standards. These standards include: - Comprehensive CCTV security systems - Convenient WeChat Pay and Alipay services - Chinese-speaking staff or translation apps for communication assistance - Streamlined travel routes and seamless service experiences

As previously reported by Beijing Business Today, multiple tourism industry insiders indicated that following the cooling of travel to Japan, some tourists planning overseas trips have shifted their focus to Southeast Asian countries like Singapore and Thailand. It is anticipated that travel to Southeast Asian destinations such as Singapore and Thailand will gain momentum during the upcoming New Year's and Spring Festival holidays.
